I am writing to you to confirm the plans for the day of the Y9 Graduation. The Graduation Ceremony will take place on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th July 2024 and will start at 9am and finish by 11am. Please arrive on the day that your child is graduating at 8.40am and enter the school via the Komplex entrance and into the link corridor into school, where you will be greeted by a member of staff at the door.

Graduation ceremonies will take place in year group bands as follows:

All of X band- Thursday 4 th July 2024
Y band (Surnames A to M)- Thursday 4 th July 2024
All of Z band- Friday 5 th July 2024
Y band (Surnames N to Z) Friday 5 th July 2024

On the day your child is graduating, they should arrive at school by no later than 8.25am through their normal Y9 entrance. They will then make their way down to the activity hall, where they will receive their gown and cap for the ceremony. Students must wear their normal uniform when attending school that morning. Students who do not have the correct uniform may not be able to take part in the ceremony. Y9 students who are not graduating on the day of the ceremony will go to their normal, timetabled lessons.
