On Wednesday 18th September, a total of 42 students represented the Academy away at Outwood Academy Shafton. We had some fantastic results from both Netball and Football fixtures.

Netball

Congratulations to our Year 8 Netball team who battled well in a 3-3 draw. Also, a massive congratulations to our Year 9 Netball team who came out on top with a 13-6 victory.

Football

Similarly, our Year 8 boys performed exceptionally well and came out on top with a 2-1 victory with young Josh Crossley taking up an unusual role as goalkeeper. Success the followed again, and despite going down 1-0 early on, our Year 9 boys fought hard to overturn the result, eventually coming out on top to win the game 4-2.
