It is with great pleasure that we are inviting Year 7 parents into our academy for our STEP 1 Parents’ Evening at Northern Education Trust, Kirk Balk Academy.

Appointments for the evening should be booked through the MCAS app, where you will be able to select appropriate times to see your child’s teachers for our Parents’ Evening which takes place on Tuesday 29th September from 4- 6pm.

It is advised that if you would like an update on your child’s progress that you follow the guidance attached to this letter to arrange this meeting with your child’s teacher/s.
The letter attached details how to book appointments via the MCAS app. Further communication will be shared closer to the event to indicate that appointments are live and can be booked.

Making an Appointment

The school operates an easy-to-use online booking system via the app MCAS. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and have a 5-minute meeting with each of your child’s subject teachers.

Appointments can be made as soon as is convenient. Once you have looked at the guidance, please visit the MCAS app to book your appointments.
