Northern Education Trust Kirk Balk Academy is delighted to confirm the platinum mark as a result of achieving 5 Gold awards in a row in consecutive years.

This makes Kirk Balk the first to achieve it in the Barnsley District as well as in the Trust. The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme. It celebrates schools’ commitment to developing competitive sport within their school and community and recognises equal access opportunities in School Sport.
