The Kirk Balk Academy ‘How To Help Your Child Succeed’ Information Evening for Year 10 students and their parents takes place on Thursday 4th December from 4-5pm.

The purpose of this evening, is to ensure all parents are aware of the coursework deadlines, requirements and examination dates for all subjects in which our Year 10 students will be certficating in this year. This includes the following subjects;

• Art
• Photography
• Sport
• Performing Arts
• Health & Social
• Music
• Engineering
• iMedia
• Catering

There are two presentations taking place during the evening, one at 4pm in the main hall which will last approximately 10 minutes. The second presentation will take place in classrooms so that teachers can explain in more detail how you can help your to succeed in the coming exams. You only need to attend this event if your child will be completing their course for the subjects mentioned above during this academic year.
