Mr S Moore – Assistant Principal / Careers Leader
Mr Moore is responsible for the strategic leadership of CEIAG across the Academy. He reports to and advises SLT and Governors on policy, strategy and resources for CEIAG.
Miss A Dakin – CEIAG Co-ordinator
Miss Dakin develops the annual careers plan ensuring the day to day co-ordination of the careers programme is implemented and tracks student participation. She provides careers guidance interviews with students in any year group and operates an open door policy for students to drop in. She is also available to support parents upon request. Miss Dakin is qualified to Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance.
Mr J Anthrobus – Aspiring Leader (Pledges and Careers)
Mr Anthrobus leads CEIAG delivery across the academy as part of his DEEP Experience Aspiring Leader role.
Ms D Norton – Careers Inc. (Independent IAG)
The school contracts Careers Inc. to provide independent careers guidance interviews with Year 8 and Year 11 students.
Mrs J Allen-Booth – Enterprise Adviser
Year 7 to Year 10 students have a one hour weekly lesson of life skills which includes careers education.
Learning Managers encourage students to think positively about their career prospects and what they could be doing to enhance their life chances. They refer students for 1-1 careers support where appropriate.
The Bridge / SEN
The team supports SEN students to generate their individual career action plans and review these with their parents to ensure they are engaged and supportive of the plans. Additional CEIAG support is implemented at key decision making stages and to aid smooth transition into a positive post 16 destination.
Vertical Mentoring and Assemblies
All students benefit from daily VMG sessions and weekly assemblies. Careers information and guidance is delivered through VMG and assemblies throughout the year.

Within lessons, curriculum is linked to careers to promote the progression routes within each subject.
